Bullet Journal - January

Like I said in my previous post I talked about my bullet journal, bujo for short. I wanted to share with you what my monthly spread as well as a few yearly spreads that I have completed.

Monthly Spread:

This is just the Title page for January. It's kind of just plain but doesn't mean I won't put more things on there later on or find inspiration for next years.

Obviously every bujo has to have a monthly calendar which I like because I can put all of the dates that I have to have in my phone calendar on this calendar. It helps me have that organization all in one book.

So obviously I wanted to see what days of the month I was happy compared to sad and then with my health and fitness goals I wanted to keep track of my water intake.

I know I have an apple watch that tracks all of my sleep but I think being able to do something that I can physically watch to see what days I get the most sleep. I take medications and vitamins but I want to make sure that I can keep track of the days I take my med and what days I forget to take my meds.

I try to pick one thing out from my day that was something good that happened because it gives me a reason to keep motivated. I like the ways that I alternate the colors just to give it color.

Yearly Spread:

I saw this on Pinterest and wanted to make it in a way that fits what goes on in my life. It will show me what days I'm sick and what days I just have a really rough or bad day. I'm excited to see how it turns out at the end of the year. I will do side by side to show at the end of the year.

One of my goals this year is to read at least 15 books by the end of the year and I wanted to see which book genre I read the most. I'm hoping this will look like a year in pixels but typically I read romance but I'm hoping to change that this year just to open my book genre type.

I wanted to try this year. I don't remember where I saw this but I did want to try it to try to find new books to read and even books that are recommended to me. I actually had to get help for filling in some of the boxes but I'm excited to get through these books as well as hopefully get a "blackout."

This year I want to see which social media platform I do better on so I wanted to try to track it each month. I know that I should be involved in social media like I should but I think it would be fun just to see what happens.

This is something that I really wanted to do especially with my weight loss goal and journey. It will show me what days I tend to do more work outs and to see if I work out more when its nice out compared to when its not.

I work from home and I try to keep track of how many calls I get a day. In my line of work I have to work over the phone and I want to see in what time of year I get more calls. I do have other things to help with tracking those on my work computer but I wanted something that I can have for my personal journal.

I hope to keep this going and continue writing and I hope you can get some inspirations for your bullet journal if you do chose to start one!

See you again,

New Ideas

So recently I started reading books more. I'm thinking about making a thing on here about my reviews of the books and my true thoughts about what I truly think about the book. I think that reading is not only good for the mind but for mental health as well. When I'm reading I feel like I'm going to a whole new world inside of my head, yes almost like the island from the movie Inside Out. To me I always thought that you had to be super smart to be a reader but now as an adult I think totally different. Also, with the book reviews I want to do a TBR (To Be Read) list on here just to show what I do have in either my Kindle app or my Apple books, even physical books. Right. Now I can’t believe how long it is and that’s mainly because I do Stuff your kindle events and I’m always looking at books at stores and such. Having my TBR in a way to show that you aren’t alone in having a big TBR and many of us readers tend to have a long one. I will also put in a D...

Get to know me :)

New things and reasoning.      Hi... I realized that I wanted to give the blog a whole new way of what I write about and what I do. I used to do random here and there post but now I want to focus on book reviews as well as things that I do with my bullet journal to help others understand bullet journaling. Get to know me.       Well if your new here let me tell you about myself. I'm from Kansas and I have 2 beautiful children. I'm currently engaged to the person who is not only my other half but my soulmate. I graduated from college in 2023 with a degree in Mass Media. What is Mass Media you ask? Well it's everything that is around you. It's movies, television, books, blogs, advertising, and so much more. I originally went to school for nursing but I took one class and that's when I found my calling in Mass Media. In that class I was able to be creative and be myself. I was able to let my emotions out in ways that I always did just be able to fi...
