Happy Veteran's Day

Today is Veteran's day with is for all the men and women in the United States who have served in the military. In my family there is my grandfather, Arthur Schimmel, and my uncle, Dino Schimmel. As part of their family they make me super proud of them just knowing that they protected out country in many way. There are many other people in my friends that have served as well. I know that being in the military takes a toll not only on the service member themselves but their family as well. Below are some ideas that you can do to celebrate today!

Make a care package for members over seas.
Recognize veterans at your place of work.
Visit a local memorial in your area.
Thank a service member.
Find a creative way to teach young children about the holiday and it's importance.
Visit a VA hospital.

These are just a few ways that you can help celebrate veteran's day in your area, home and school!

New Ideas

So recently I started reading books more. I'm thinking about making a thing on here about my reviews of the books and my true thoughts about what I truly think about the book. I think that reading is not only good for the mind but for mental health as well. When I'm reading I feel like I'm going to a whole new world inside of my head, yes almost like the island from the movie Inside Out. New things and reasoning. Hi... I realized that I wanted to give the blog a whole new way of what I write about and what I do.
